CALIFORNIA

Here we go...My Mom edited and did this post and I stole it off her blog. My parents are amazing. We were able to go to San Diego for the whole week and it was the best!! I seriously can't even tell you how spoiled we were. My parents brought all the food for almost the whole week. We ate like QUEENS AND KINGS!!! I could go on and on and on about everything they did. We were so sad all the other family members couldn't come but we hope to do it again in the future and have everyone there with us. We made the best memories EVER!!! My kids still ask to go back and live in San Diego!!
The view from the condo we were staying in was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous sunsets!
A first for us...we brought our own bikes, it was a lot of fun during the week. A little too crazy for the kids on the week-ends though. We would definitely do it again!
Good times at the beach
At the pool with the Johnstons/Landvatters
Seal Rock/Lajolla Cove
bbq'ing & watching the sunset on the roof
Making & setting the traps
Green eggs & ham & lucky charms for breakfast
Green mac & cheese for lunch
Played at the beach for a little bit to see if we could catch a leprechaun in the condo
Going to find out if we caught one?!
Dreaming...maybe next year?!
Tried a little bit of fishing in the afternoon while the corned beef & cabbage cooked
Another day fishing from Crystal Pier...while the girls walked, ate frozen yogurt, played at the beach & visited the boys on the pier. Brody is the only one who caught a fish, he was super excited!
I love these pictures, they are so sweet...Sisters Forever
Jim & Johnny's fishing exursion
This is the boat they were on, they called us just as they went by us while we were playing at the beach
The first Rubio's, a must when we go to San Diego
This was hilarious & so glad I took pictures. Brody was fishing with the guys all day & he was so exhausted. He was eating his churro while he was falling asleep. He asked us the next morning where his churro was, we told him he ate it. He kept denying it until I had pictures to prove it.
The kids loved the pool every bit as much as the beach
Brinley could not get enough of the water
LaJolla
Torrey Pines
Building sand castles & other cool stuff
A bit of kite flying
We rode our bikes from the Capri to Belmont Park
Last night of a wonderful trip, estuaries in LaJolla
Cant wait until the next time!
